Public VK media: start with the source
VK can host videos and other media inside individual posts and dedicated media pages. This tool needs a public link to a specific supported item. A profile or community feed is not equivalent to the video or post you want to save.
Some VK media remains visible only in an authenticated session or to a selected audience. A copied address can preserve that restriction. SaveFlow does not use a VK account, friend relationship or group membership to obtain files.
Check whether the attachment is hosted on VK or embedded from another service. An external player can have its own regional, login or payment requirements. The public engine offers only supported formats returned through the available source response.
Keep the uploader and source context with an authorized download. A community can repost material made by someone else, and public distribution does not establish that all contributors granted reuse permission.
Copy the link and review the result
Open the individual public video or media post, copy its sharing address and paste it into this form. Compare the metadata and thumbnail, then select a returned format appropriate for your device.
On phones and tablets, the browser may save the file into Downloads or Files before it appears in a photo library. Use the normal device Paste command if clipboard permission is unavailable. Keep the page open while a file is being prepared; a result preview is not itself a completed download.
Availability and responsible use
Private communities, age or regional restrictions, deleted media and login-only pages are not bypassed. A URL accepted as belonging to VK can still contain an unsupported media type.
Signed result links expire. Request the original URL again for a fresh result while the media remains public. Generated server files are temporary rather than a permanent archive.
