Public LinkedIn media: start with the source
LinkedIn can show video and images in posts from people and organizations. This page checks a direct public post link for supported media. A post visible after signing in may still be unavailable to an anonymous request, so public accessibility is an important first check.
Use the individual post’s sharing menu to copy its link. A person’s profile or an organization’s home page does not identify one media attachment. If the post embeds content from another site, the destination can have separate restrictions and download permissions.
LinkedIn material often includes presentations, demonstrations and workplace information. A document carousel, event recording and native video are different content types. The downloader does not convert a document presentation into a video or promise extraction of every slide.
A public business post can contain copyrighted training material, customer information or recognizable employees. Obtain the appropriate authorization before retaining or redistributing a copy, especially for commercial use. Keep the original organization and post context with any permitted reference.
Copy the link and review the result
Open the specific public post, choose Copy link to post from its sharing controls, and paste the URL. Compare the author and preview with the source, then choose a supported returned media file.
On phones and tablets, the browser may save the file into Downloads or Files before it appears in a photo library. Use the normal device Paste command if clipboard permission is unavailable. Keep the page open while a file is being prepared; a result preview is not itself a completed download.
Availability and responsible use
Connections-only posts, login requirements, paid courses and private groups are outside this tool. LinkedIn can restrict public extraction even when a post preview is visible. No account credentials or session cookies are accepted.
Signed result links expire. Request the original URL again for a fresh result while the media remains public. Generated server files are temporary rather than a permanent archive.
