Essential sessions

SaveFlow uses a session cookie to associate requests with a short-lived server session. This supports form security tokens, contact-form feedback and administrator login. A public visitor does not need a social-media account to use the tools. Administrator sessions are restricted to authenticated site staff.

The supplied configuration marks session cookies as HTTP-only and SameSite=Lax, and uses the Secure flag when the site is served over HTTPS. These settings protect ordinary session handling; they are not a substitute for HTTPS or careful administration. Browser settings can block or clear cookies, but doing so can prevent protected forms or sign-in from working.

Theme and language choices

If you choose a light or dark theme, the site saves that preference in localStorage in your browser. Without an explicit choice, the site follows the device’s light or dark preference. Clearing site storage removes the saved theme preference.

The selected language is reflected in the URL. Translated content is published only when it is available for that language. Links that open an English resource are identified rather than presented as a translated copy.

Advertising and third-party storage

Advertising is disabled by default in this distribution. If the operator enables providers, their scripts may set cookies or use other browser storage and process information about ad delivery. Practices differ by provider and location. The operator is responsible for listing the actual providers, configuring appropriate consent controls and obtaining consent where required before loading non-essential code.

An advertisement label identifies a placement; it does not itself obtain consent. SaveFlow does not provide a blanket promise that all possible third-party code is consent-compliant. Blocking a provider in your browser can leave a placement empty; the site should remain usable.

Your controls

Use your browser’s site-data settings to inspect, clear or block storage. A private browsing window usually keeps a separate, temporary storage area. Clearing storage can sign you out of the admin panel and reset your theme preference.
