Public Snapchat media: start with the source
Snapchat distinguishes public Spotlight and shared public content from private Snaps and conversations. This page accepts a publicly shared media link and checks whether its source exposes a supported file. It does not retrieve chat attachments, disappearing private messages or a person’s account content.
Open the public item and use its own sharing controls. An account name or Snapcode is not a media URL. A link should identify the intended public Spotlight video or another publicly shared supported item, not a general account page.
A visible Snap can include platform effects, text and audio already rendered into the source video. The downloader does not separate those layers or remove overlays. Interactive app features and message metadata are not exported as part of the file.
Public sharing can still involve identifiable people and sensitive places. Respect the creator’s permission and the people shown. Do not use a public-link tool to monitor someone, distribute intimate material or evade a person’s decision to keep messages private.
Copy the link and review the result
Open the public Spotlight or shared item, copy its share link and paste the URL here. Check that the returned preview matches the intended media, then save an available file through its result button.
On phones and tablets, the browser may save the file into Downloads or Files before it appears in a photo library. Use the normal device Paste command if clipboard permission is unavailable. Keep the page open while a file is being prepared; a result preview is not itself a completed download.
Availability and responsible use
Expired links, private Snaps, login-only content and unsupported public page types may return no media. SaveFlow cannot recover deleted messages or import Snapchat sessions to make them accessible.
Signed result links expire. Request the original URL again for a fresh result while the media remains public. Generated server files are temporary rather than a permanent archive.
