Public Flickr media: start with the source
Flickr photo pages can include a creator, description and an explicit license. Those details are central to responsible reuse. Check the image’s current license and any stated attribution requirements before downloading an authorized copy.
A photo or video page is more specific than a photostream, album or group. Use the item’s share link, including a supported flic.kr short link when provided. An album can contain many works with different permissions, so it should not be treated as one license for every file.
Flickr may provide its own download controls when the owner permits them. That can be the best source for an authorized image size. The current media engine may not extract every photo response, and this page does not override an owner’s download settings or promise a hidden original.
Image titles and descriptions are useful context but are not always a license. Preserve the creator name, source page and applicable license reference when the terms require them. If you are unsure who owns a work, contact the uploader or creator instead of assuming that a public gallery is unrestricted.
Copy the link and review the result
Open the individual public item, inspect its license and sharing options, and copy the page URL. Submit that link and review any returned file choices. Use Flickr’s own permitted download control when it provides the original you need.
On phones and tablets, the browser may save the file into Downloads or Files before it appears in a photo library. Use the normal device Paste command if clipboard permission is unavailable. Keep the page open while a file is being prepared; a result preview is not itself a completed download.
Availability and responsible use
Private items, restricted downloads and unsupported photo types may return no file. SaveFlow does not remove watermarks, reconstruct larger originals or download an entire photostream.
Signed result links expire. Request the original URL again for a fresh result while the media remains public. Generated server files are temporary rather than a permanent archive.
